The Aftercare Programme at Kingstree Private School provides a safe, caring, and structured environment for learners after the formal school day. Designed to support working families, our programme ensures that children remain supervised, engaged, and nurtured until collection time.
Rooted in Christian values, our aftercare offering extends the Kingstree ethos of care, respect, and holistic development beyond the classroom.
Our Aftercare Programme balances structure and relaxation, allowing learners to unwind while still benefiting from meaningful activities.
Daily Activities Include:
Homework supervision and academic support
Quiet reading and study time
Creative activities (art, crafts, music)
Free play and indoor/outdoor games
Life skills and character-building activities
Rest for younger learners
All activities are age-appropriate and supervised by caring, trained staff.
Open to learners from Grade R to Grade 7
Available on all school days
Flexible attendance and payment options available (monthly or yearly)
Parents are encouraged to provide a light snack for aftercare. Water is always available, and staff ensure learners are comfortable and cared for throughout the afternoon.
We believe in strong communication and partnership with parents. Our aftercare team works closely with families to ensure each learner’s needs are understood and supported.
Monday to Friday: Immediately after school until 17:30
Aftercare is not available on public holidays or during school holidays.
