
The Grade 7 programme at Kingstree Private School represents the culmination of the Intersen Phase, preparing learners for the transition to high school. Aligned with the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) and the National Curriculum Statement, the programme balances academic rigour, practical application, and character development to ensure learners are confident, capable, and well-rounded.
This year, Grade 7 welcomes learners aged 12–13 years from diverse linguistic and socio-economic backgrounds. Individual learner needs are supported through differentiated instruction, continuous assessment, and personalised guidance.
The Grade 7 programme provides a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment, fostering independence, leadership, critical thinking, and personal responsibility, while instilling Christian values and ethical behaviour.

Grade 7 at Kingstree Private School is the final year of the Intermediate Phase and a key transition point in a learner’s academic journey. The programme is CAPS-aligned and designed to prepare learners for the academic, social, and personal demands of high school, while continuing to uphold strong Christian values.
At this level, learners are encouraged to demonstrate independence, leadership, accountability, and critical thinking. Teaching focuses on deeper understanding, application of knowledge, research skills, and effective study habits to ensure learners leave primary school confident and well-prepared.
